IP Stars Announcement

The 2024 IP Stars list has been revealed. This recognises senior practitioners who have been identified and recommended as leaders in their firm and jurisdiction. All of us at Zone Law are delighted to congratulate Theodore Doucas with this recognition!

INTA 2024

Zone’s Theodore Doucas, Karen Doucas, and Chris Sheehan attended INTA 2024 held in Atlanta, US. They spent their time attending the conference, catching up with old friends and establishing new connections. Here’s some photos from the Cocktail Function we hosted!

ECTA 2024

The ECTA (official) Annual Meeting in Antwerp is just around the corner. Theodore Doucas will be attending on behalf of Zone and is excited to catch up with friends and colleagues.

New Staff

Since our last newsletter we have had some new staff join our team.

Nicky Biggar - Auckland office as a Senior Consultant in the Trademarks.

Rose Gallon - Auckland office as a Lawyer in Business law.

Joshua Daniel (JD) Ward - Wellington office as a Law Clerk.

Fiona Hartzuiker - Wellington office as Paralegal.

Office Relocation for Auckland

Due to building refurbishments, we have taken the opportunity to relocate. We are pleased to announce we will now be located on Level 2, 2 Princes Street, Auckland. Come pop in to visit us!

Matariki (Public holiday)

Matariki is our national public holiday celebrating the appearance of a star cluster constellation which marks the beginning of the new year in the Māori lunar calendar.

Our Auckland and Wellington Offices will be closed for business from Friday 28 June and will reopen on Monday 01 July 2024. IPONZ will also be closed for business during this time.
